Projects 1-3 will culminate in a student portfolio site
Project 1 HTML Personal Site 5% – create a site with at least four pages with bio info; links and one image (photo). One page will be an assignment page that will hold links to other projects in the future. Create navigation in a list to each page on every page. You have to have a Home page (index.html) and then two other pages of your choice. Include at least one additional list (other than the nav list) and a table somewhere on the site. Demonstrate the use of links and images, as we discussed. Have some good content throughout the site. Include your txstate email on the home page and include a date on the home page, too. Upload it to public_html on your site and then TEST IT on the web at your domain. Submit your domain name, if you haven’t already, to the Google Form link.
Project 2 Responsive Design 10% – add CSS/responsive design elements and graphics/photos to project to make the site optimized for multiple devices
Project 3 Bootstrap on Personal Site 5% – add basic Bootstrap elements to add a grid, nav and responsive images to your personal site.
Projects 4 & Final Project will contribute to the same project, an interactive, multimedia project designed with Bootstrap.
Project 4 Multimedia Bootstrap Site 20% – Create an entire website using Bootstrap to tell a multimedia story (4 sections or pages total). Use responsive design, css, multimedia editing. Site should have one or more videos, photos, photo slideshows, graphics and text — whatever you need to tell the story.
Final Project Interactive, Multimedia Site 20% – add interactive elements and complete your final multimedia project.
